JMI BEd Admission 2025
The office of the Controller of Examinations, Jamia Millia Islamia invites applications for JMI BEd admission under JMI Regular Courses, Jamia Millia Islamia for session 2025-26.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) started a new course for Undergraduate (UG) students. i.e.; B.Ed. To fill out the JMI BEd 2025 form you can watch the video or visit jmicoe.in
JMI initiated a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program, a Regular Course. You can fill out the form on the JMI website jmicoe.in before 13 April 2025. The fee for the application form is Rs 1000 which is non-refundable.
The eligibility criteria, test duration, number of seats, entrance test pattern, syllabus, and fee structure is as follows:
Eligibility Criteria
- (i) Bachelor’s Degree in any School teaching subject with not less than 50% marks.
- (OR)
- Bachelor’s Degree in any school teaching subject with not less than 45% marks and minimum 50% marks in Master’s Degree examination in the same school teaching subject in which the candidate has applied.
- (ii) The main school teaching subject in which the candidate is applying should have been studied in two years/Four Semesters in graduation. Teaching Subjects are shown in annexure-II, under the heading “Breakup of seats under different school teaching subjects for B.Ed. Program” and are given as medium wise for opting for English/Hindi/Urdu as medium, the candidate should have studied it upto class- X.
- (iii)Bachelor’s (Hons.) Degree in any school teaching subject as shown in annexure-II will be considered as a main teaching subject.
- If a candidate has done BA/B.Sc (Hons), he/she would be given that subject in which the Hons. Degree has been studied as the Ist teaching subject.
- If a candidate has done pass course BA/B.Sc , then he/she should have studied that subject for two year or four semesters for taking it as Ist teaching subject.
- (iv) B.com (Hons.) alone are not eligible. M.com are eligible to opt. for commerce as a main teaching subject.
Note:
- (i) The department will allot a second teaching subject to all admitted (Selected) students, chosen from the school subjects that the candidate studied during their graduation, which spans two years or four semesters. So, all the candidates applying for B.Ed. must have studied at least two school teaching subjects in their graduation.
- (ii) We prepare Teachers in 17 school teaching subjects only as shown in annexure-II so, all applicants should have studied the subject in which they are applying in the same name as shown in the annexure-II The candidates having bachelor’s/Master Degree in subjects other than school subjects as shown in annexure –II are not eligible..
- All the candidates must appear in the test conducted by Jamia, New Delhi.

Additional Information
- Additional curricular fees of Rs. 1000/- shall be charged in the second year of all B.Ed and D.El.Ed program.
- Hostel Accommodation will be provided to the admitted candidates. (approx 10%)
- A specified number of admissions against Urdu Medium seats in B.Ed. and Diploma in Elementary Education are provided to prepare teachers for Urdu medium Schools. (Total 100 Seats for Urdu Medium in BEd).
- A common entrance test of B.Ed programe will be conducted irrespective of the medium and subject opted by the candidate. The entrance test paper will be printed in three languages namely, Hindi, English and Urdu.
