In this article we are going to discuss about CUET General test Syllabus and how do I cover CUET General Test syllabus in 5 days. CUET general test Examination is taken by NTA from last year. As mentioned by NTA they will ask question particularly from some specific area, but people are busy in studying all the math and reasoning.
There is huge difference between the syllabus given by NTA and what you need to study. So first of all, let’s look the syllabus of General test Provide by NTA. then i will tell you what you need to study in General test and how will you cover syllabus in only 5 Days.
Syllabus given by NTA for General Test
CUET General Test syllabus provided by NTA is as follows. The Question paper will contain questions from the following topics:
- General Knowledge, Current Affairs,
- General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability,
- Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical
- concepts Quantitative arithmetic / algebra geometry / mensuration / statistics),
- Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
Whenever we look at this, we got confused that what we need to study and how do i score 250 out of 250 in General Test.
Question Pattern and Marking
There will be one question paper which have 60 Question. You have to attempt 50 questions out of 60.
Marking of paper will be as follows.
Answer | Marks for Every Answer |
Right Answer | 5 Marks |
Wrong Answer | -1 Mark |
If not Marked | 0 Marks |
For every right question you will get 5 marks and for every incorrect answer your 1 mark will be deducted. You need to score more to get admission in any central university. Well, you don’t need to be panic, you just need to fight for your 1 seat and will get chance to be a part of Central University. If you will score highest marks then no one is going to stop you from getting Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Allahabad University (AU) and many more central University. You will interact with beautiful environment whenever you will reach there.
You just need to be more focused and revised the things thoroughly and be conscious while marking your answers on your computer screen. We can predict the expected cutoff would be 180 as number of students who had applied for General Test are high and there are large number of universities which is taking admission on the basis of General test. in JMI are much higher than any other Central University.

Last year, Total Number of Question in General Test was 75. You need to attempt 60 questions out of 75 questions.

2023 Question Pattern for General Test
There will be one Question Paper which will have 60 questions out of which 50 questions need to be attempted.

GK & Current Affairs – 10-12 Questions
