The National Testing Agency, which is an autonomous body has been mandated by the Ministry of Education and UGC to Conduct a Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission into Undergraduate Programmes in Central Universities under the Ministry of Education, and other participating Universities / Institutions / Organisations / Autonomous College.
The CUET (UG) provides a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) or other participating organizations (including State Universities, Deemed and Private Universities) across the Country.
For the Academic Session 2025-26, CUET (UG) – 2025 will be conducted in the Hybrid mode (Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Pen & Paper) as per the details given below:

Candidates must carefully refer to the eligibility requirements of the programmes offered by various Central Universities and participating Universities / Organizations in this regard.

- Candidates can apply for CUET (UG) - 2025 through the “Online” mode only on the website https://cuet.nta.nic.in/ . The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
- Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Under no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill out more than one Application Form.
- CUET UG 2025 Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin available on the website https://cuet.nta.nic.in/ . Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
- Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number provided in the Online Application Forms are their own or parents/guardians' only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e- mail address or SMS on the registered mobile number only.
