JMI BA Arabic Admission 2026
The office of the Controller of Examinations, Jamia Millia Islamia invites applications for JMI BA Arabic admission under JMI Regular Courses, Jamia Millia Islamia for session 2026-27.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) started a new course for Undergraduate (UG) students. i.e.; BA Arabic To fill out the JMI BA Arabic 2026 form you can watch the video or visit jmicoe.in
JMI initiated BA Arabic program, a Regular Course. You can fill out the form on the JMI website jmicoe.in. The fee for the application form is Rs 1000 which is non-refundable.
The eligibility criteria, test duration, number of seats, entrance test pattern, syllabus, and fee structure is as follows:
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination from a recognized board or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- They should have studied Arabic as a subject in their 10 + 2 or have a certificate in Arabic language proficiency.

Section 2 (35 marks) will be descriptive and focus on Arabic language and literature.
Section 3: Translation
The exam will include translation from English to Arabic and vice versa, including simple sentences and newspaper headlines.

Additional Information
- Admission to the BA Arabic program will be based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. A merit list will be prepared, and candidates will be shortlisted for counselling and document verification.
- Hostel Accommodation will be provided to the outstation candidates on a limited basis. The hostel fee will be around Rs. 10,000 to 15,000 per annum.
- The university offers scholarships to meritorious students. Candidates can apply for scholarships during the admission process.
- A common entrance test of BA Arabic program will be conducted irrespective of the medium and subject opted by the candidate. The entrance test paper will be printed in two languages – English and Arabic.
