JMI BFA Admission (Art Education) 2025
The office of the Controller of Examinations, Jamia Millia Islamia, invites applications for JMI BFA admission (Art Education) under JMI Regular Courses & Self Finance, Jamia Millia Islamia, for session 2025-26.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) started a new course for Undergraduate (UG) students. i.e., BFA. To fill out the JMI BFA 2025 form, you can watch the video or visit jmicoe.in
JMI started a course in Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A. Art Education). You can fill out the form on the JMI website jmicoe.in before 13 April 2025. The fee for the application form is Rs 1000, which is non-refundable.
The eligibility criteria, test duration, number of seats, entrance test pattern, syllabus, and fee structure is as follows:
Eligibility Criteria BFA JMI
- Intermediate in any discipline (commerce, Science, Humanities, Arts) from any recognised board or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate of 5 Papers.
- All the candidates must appear in the test conducted by Jamia, New Delhi.

Department of Art Education, Faculty of Fine Arts, Jamia Millia Islamia, offers 8-semester (4-year) Bachelor of Fine Arts programme in Art Education at the UG level. To get admitted to this programme, applicants must qualify all the following papers separately:
The syllabus of BFA Art Education is divided into 3 Parts and has many sections. Each section carries different marks. There were a total of 100 questions for the BFA.

Paper I (A) THEORY PAPER (40 Marks)
Paper 1 will be focus on General Intelligence/Awareness and Subject Comprehension (Fine Arts). Candidates will attempt 40 MCQs of 1 mark each. The difficulty level for the entrance examination theory is based on the Senior Secondary syllabus of Fine Arts and the given topics.

This section is based on composition painting. You will be given a topic for the composition in the practical exam test. You must paint a composition in any Colour Medium (Water colour/ Poster Colour/ Pastel Colour, etc). The quarter imperial Cartridge Sheet will be provided by the Department.

(B) Life Drawing (30 Marks)
