NCET 2025 Application: How to Apply, Fees, Eligibility & Exam Dates

NCET 2025 Application has started and the date, eligibility, Fees, Syllabus, Exams Pattern are discussed Below:

The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has given the responsibility to NTA to conduct the National Common Entrance Test for admission to 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/ State Universities/ Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government College, etc. for the academic session of 2025-2026.

The ITEP is a Dual Major Programme – the first major is in Education with School Specific Stage specialization and the Second Major is an opted discipline.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2025 in 178 cities and 13 mediums across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for the academic session 2025-26 as per the schedule given below:

Considering multiple request received from students, Institutions, and other stakeholders due to ongoing CBSE and other board examinations, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has recommended extending the last date for online application submission. Accordingly based on NCTE’s request, the last date has been extended from 16 March to 31st March 2025 (Monday) as per revised schedule below:

NCET examination will be taken in 13 Languages

Medium of Question Papers: Drawing from the National Educational Policy (NEP), the NCET 2025 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.

Note: The option of language for Question Paper should be exercised while filling up the Application Form online and it cannot be changed at a later stage.

  5. If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
