There are many documents which is required during the hostel allotment to boys and girls in AMU. All Documents are required in hostel allotment in Boys hostel and Abdullah Girls Hostel. You need to carry all the documents in the office at the time of hostel allotment.

List of Documents required in AMU Hostel
| passport-size photographs of the student | |
| Aadhar Card of the student and parent | |
| photograph of Parent and Local Guardian. | |
| Payment Slip for the same session (photocopy) | |
| Any one of the following ID proofs of the parent: PAN Card or Passport (photocopy). | |
| Two (2) envelopes | |
| Physical Fitness Certificate – issued from your local city/town. | |
| Photocopy of last passed examination mark sheet. | |
| Parent/Guardian Undertaking format available in the office). | |
| Local Guardian Declaration (if applicable). | |
| EWS Certificate – Students under the economically weaker section quota must bring a valid certificate issued by the competent authority. |
Important Note:
Hostel seats are limited, and accommodation is not guaranteed.
Students must bring original documents along with photocopies for verification.
Note: Students who require hostel facility must come along with their parents. Hostel accommodation will only be provided after the completion of all admission and hostel formalities as per university rules.
Class (IX & XI): Hostel Allottment process will commence from 15* July 2025 onwards.
