JAMIA BA ENGLISH exam is taken by JMI every year. In this exam, JMI has set their syllabus and asked questions from that part and section. In this blog, we will discuss the complete syllabus, cutoff, Exam Pattern, and BA English Cutoff in JMI Exam, cutoff of Internal and external students in JMI.

Syllabus of Jamia BA English
There shall be one objective-type paper of 100 Marks with the following components:
It has two part i.e., Part A, and Part B that contains 3 sections
- Part A consist of – 40 multiple choice questions on authors, books, current literary scene in India and abroad in the faculties of Arts, Department of English Admission Test.
- Each questions consist of 1 Marks
- Part B – Consist of Essay, Unseen Passage and Grammar. it consists of vocabulary and comprehension also.
- Maximum marks: 60
- Unseen passage for comprehension: 20 marks
- Grammar and vocabulary: 10 marks
- Essay: 30 marks

Note: Part A which is multiple choice questions is objective in JMI BA ENGLISH. While the Part B has questions which is subjective
JMI BA English Exam Pattern
As it is mentioned there are 4 sections or 2 Part. Which consist of MCQ and Subjective (written), and you need to score more in that. If you are coming from any background and want to pursue BA English , You can pursue that there is no restriction at all.

JMI Hostel Point and Hostel Doubts
JMI BA English Cutoff
Every year Cutoff will be around the same, and students get admission at such a cutoff because of the maximum number of seats in JMI. There is not much difference in the cutoff as such. But there are 2 or 3 marks differences between the marks of Internal and External to get admission in JMI.
Difference in the marks of Internal and External
There is not much difference in the marks of internal and External. Sometimes it’s very low for internal. Internal Students get maximum benefits in admission as 2 or 3 seats are reserved for JMI internal students.
They will get admission in Jamia even if their marks are 3 less than those of the External, and they will get seats as per their wishes. If they want a good subject, they will easily get it.
