JMI BEd Distance Admission 2026

On 24 June 2026, The office of the Controller of Examinations, Jamia Millia Islamia CDOE invites applications for admission to B.Ed. under Open and Distance Learning (ODL) , Jamia Millia Islamia for session 2026-27.

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) started a new course for students. i.e.; JMI BEd Distance Admission (ODL). To fill out the Jamia BEd Distance Admission 2026 form you can watch the video or visit admission.jmicoe.in

Jamia started a new course B.Ed. (Bachelor of education). You can fill out the form on the JMI website admission.jmicoe.in . The fee for the application form is Rs 1500 which is non-refundable.

Note: Admission is taken through Entrance test.

The eligibility criteria, test duration, number of seats, entrance test pattern, syllabus, and fee structure is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

1. Graduation or Masters in any discipline (commerce, Science, Humanities, Social Science) from any recognised board.
2. The minimum Qualifying Marks to get admission to JMI BEd is 50%
   Note:- Relaxation of 5% will be given to SC/ST/ OBC (NCL)/PWD
3. Trained in service teacher in Elementary Education
4. candidates who have completed NCTE – recognised two years teacher education program like DElEd, BElEd, BTC, JBT, ETE, etc through face to face mode.
5. candidates having DN from NIOS, IGNOU, any other distance diploma are not eligible.
6. All the candidates must appear in test conducted by CDOE, JMI, New Delhi

Duration

The minimum duration for BEd course in Jamia Millia Islamia is 2 Years and the Maximum duration for MBA course is 5 Years.

Fee for Jamia BEd ODL

The total fee for this course is Rs 25000/- for every year.

Entrance Test Pattern/ Marking Scheme

Selection Process:

Entrance Test of 2 hours (100 MCQ of 1 mark each) covering the following areas:

Syllabus of BEd Open and Distance Learning

The syllabus of BEd is divided into 5 sections. Each section carry equal marks. There were a total of 100 questions for the MBA.

Specific Guidelines for BEd

● Applicants are hereby advised to read the information given carefully and ensure their eligibility before submission of the online admission application form.

● No Application Form will be accepted after the last date of its submission.

● Entrance Test will be held at Delhi only.

● The duration of the Entrance Test is 2 Hours.

● Number of Questions: 100 (Multiple Choice Questions); No Negative Marking

● Max Marks: 100 (One mark for every correct answer)

● Total number of Seats (intake): 500 (50 at each of the 10 LSCs).

● LSCs will be allotted based on rank in the entrance test and the order of preference chosen by the applicant. The allotted study center will not be changed at a later stage.
