in this blog, we will discuss Amu online counselling and admission, and what are the procedure that one need to recall while taking admission.
There are few things that every student must know while taking admission in AMU.
Filling up of choices (wherever applicable) → Documents upload → Verify of submitted documents (resubmission, if required) → Payment of requisite fee → filling up data for ID Card → generation of Admission Card.
The candidate has to save the choices first followed by upload of documents, and finally do the document submission.
The color coding for the journey bar is as follows:
● Green — step completed ● Red — your current action ● Grey — upcoming

- Check your Eligibility
- Registration is only possible if your role number appear in the select chance, memo or special category list of the concerned courses
- For CUET students – Check Eligibility
- Complete all the steps before deadline. For Details Check Link.

- Submit Your Document – All Details related to Submission is mentioned in the Video.
- Upload Correct Documents
- Upload cleared, colours scanned copies (front and back where applicable) of all required document as per the guidelines. It is also mentioned in the above video.
- Check verification status
- After uploading the document, it will take 3 to 4 days to complete the verification.
- Note : keep checking your dashboard if any document is rejected, re-upload it within the notified schedule.
- Pay admission fee on time
- Failure to pay the admission fee within the deadline, will cancel your allotted seat, and you will not be considered in further counselling for that courses.
- Check email regularly
- Check your registered email(including spam/ junk folder) for acknowledgement and counselling updates.
- Physical reporting is mandatory
- Keep in mind, girl should come along with their parents, either father, or mother or both.
- All provisionally admitted. Candidate must report physically with original document as per the schedule.
- Failure to report or submission of forged/temper document will lead to the cancellation of admission.
