AMU Hostel Documents Required at the Time of Hostel Allotment (2026-27)

1. Four (4) recent coloured passport-size photographs of the student.
2. Self-attested photocopies of the student’s and parent’s Aadhaar Cards.
3. One coloured photograph each of the Parent and Local Guardian.
4. Payment Slip for the academic session 2026-27 (Photocopy).
5. Any one of the following identity proofs of the parent: PAN Card or Passport (Original along with Photocopy).
6. One envelope affixed with a 25/- postage stamp, bearing the complete postal address.
7. Physical Fitness Certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner from the student’s local city/town.
8. Self-attested photocopy of the mark sheet of the last qualifying examination.
9. Parent/Guardian Undertaking (format available in the Provost Office).
10. Local Guardian Declaration (where applicable).
11. EWS Certificate (for students applying under the Economically Weaker Section quota), issued by the competent authority.
12. Personal files will be issued from the Provost Office between 09:30 a.m. and 04:00 p.m. only.

Important Instructions

• Hostel accommodation is limited and cannot be guaranteed
• Hostel allotment will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
• Students must produce all original documents along with self-attested photocopies for verification.
