In this Blog we will discuss AMU Hostel Allotment Notice along with AMU Hostel Allotment process. The hostel allotment process for First-Year Undergraduate (B.A. & B.Sc.) students will commence from 27th July, 2026.

AMU Hostel Allotment Notice

The schedule is as follows:

1. Students admitted to the Social Science, Life Science, and Science streams, up to Rank 200, will be allotted hostel accommodation on 27th and 28th July, 2026
2. Students with ranks above 200 will be considered for hostel allotment on 29th and 30th July, 2026.
3. Candidates under all categories, including Chance Memo applicants, are required to report to Counter No. 1 on 31st July and 1st August, 2026 to complete the waiting list proforma.

Important Instructions

• Hostel accommodation is limited and cannot be guaranteed
• Hostel allotment will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
• Students must produce all original documents along with self-attested photocopies for verification.
